Application Procedure

  • Briefly describe your choir (age, sex, voices, experience/biography/video – youtube reference is good).  If you don’t want to homestay and would prefer to stay in the designated Hotel for International Choirs, please raise this issue at this time.
  • We will match your choir to an appropriate New Zealand host choir school, answer questions about this host, costs etc.  (We will give preference to applications from those choirs who choose to stay with our host choirs.  We think it will be better.)
  • Once we confirm your application, a secured non refundable deposit is payable before April 20th.  At this time contact information for music staff is exchanged.
  • By May 20th  details of your choiristers must be sent to us including: Name, Contact details, Medical Allergies (Doctor’s certification needed.  Most NZ households have at least a cat as a pet)  together with full payment.
  • By June 20th we will send host choir and home details to you, matched with your choristers, including: Name, Address, email , telephone, Household members.
